Welcome to the 5th International Citizens’ Forum on Education
“Education and Skills for a Changing World: Issues and Challenges of the Digital and Sustainable Transition,”

October 30 to November 1, 2026, in Tunis–Gammarth.

Organized for the fifth time, the Forum is a space for reflection, dialogue, and action, where researchers, teachers, students, policymakers, and civil society actors come together to reinvent education in the face of the profound changes in our world.

The world is changing, and so is education. This edition focuses on the challenges and opportunities of the digital and sustainable transition, examining how technological, social, and environmental transformations are redefining the essential skills of tomorrow and influencing teaching practices. Researchers, teachers, and doctoral students are invited to share their ideas, explore innovative solutions, and collectively imagine educational approaches capable of preparing societies for a more just, resilient, and sustainable future.

Through its five themes—skills for today and tomorrow, teacher training and development, inclusion and diversity, research and partnerships in the digital age, and governance and global citizenship—this edition offers a stimulating, interdisciplinary exploration, highlighting innovative practices and concrete action plans for building equitable and future-oriented education.
